Responsibilities:

• Familiar with the market attributes and understand clients preference.
• Track on monthly booking & shipment status of the division to justify the head count balancing and to keep business growing.
• Source new potential vendors and identify other product opportunities for clients so as to drive more business.
• Supervise and guide a team of merchandisers to meet clients needs and expectation.
• Educate and update vendors on company policies such as social compliance,
• Country of Origin Conferring and clients individual requirement so as to ensure legitimate working procedures while satisfying customers needs.
• Set goals and organize subordinates to accomplish them on time.
• Develop subord inates to be at better quality and recognize their ability and strength.
• Negotiate with vendors on price and delivery issues for the best interest of clients.
• Assist clients in pursuing claims against vendors.
• Identify current problems, foresee pitfalls and advise resolution to subordinates to maintain smooth workflow.
• Present problematic issues to client.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as Operations, Technical and Quality Assurance to ensure smooth workflow.
• Coordinate daily operational activities in screening pre-production samples, obtaining price quote and tracking production.
• Track and review pre-production sample and lab dips to ensure samples match with required specifications and quality standard.
• Monitor production process properly to meet quantity, quality, order specifications and delivery dates.
• Accompany clients to visit vendors/ factories in th eir buying trips.
• Do research and development for next seasons orders
• Visiting clients, present and/ or updated new development in market and introduce new vendors

Requirements:

• 8 years experience in furniture industry.
• At least 4 years experience at supervisory / managerial level.
• Strong product knowledge in furniture product.
• Good command in English (speaking and writing)
• Good communication, leadership, negotiation and problem solving skills;
• Computer literate (MS Word, Excell, Power point)
• Additional qualities of interpersonal skills, commitment and result driven is
  definitely a plus.
• Willing to travel frequently.
• Full-Time position(s) available.
