Sales Service Assistant
Bogor (Jawa Barat)

Responsibilities:

  1. Trade and Distribution Analysis:
    • Consolidate and summarize sales area inputs to be considered in the setting of trade monitoring and analytical standards.
    • Document trade monitoring and analytical standards for sales area and region implementation.
    • Coordinate with the Heads of Sales Information on specific trade information required by the Manager, Trade Marketing and/or SMT, i.e. trade information by specific channel, outlet, and type in a particu lar territory.
    • Consolidate and summarize reports from the sales areas on emerging trade developments and trends-and specific trade information requirements.
    • Provide analytical inputs in identifying and addressing critical issues arising from trade developments and trends that impact on beersales at national level.
    • Ensure proper maintenance and easy access of trade-related reports/records.
  1. Market and Consumer Analysis.
    • Consolidate and summarize sales area and Marketing Services inputs to be considered in the setting of standard market and consumer analysis approach.
    • Document standard market and consumer analysis approach for sales area and region implementation.
    • Consolidate and summarize area level findings as well as analytical inputs from Marketing Services on emerging market and consumer developments and trends.
    • Ensure proper maintenance and easy access of market and consumer related reports/records sourced from the sales areas and those provided by Marketing. Services
  2. Regular Market Research & Tracking Studies.
    • Coordinate with Marketing Research regarding the details of additional research, requirements of beer sales function which can be addressed through regular research and tracking studies by Marketing Services (i.e. UAI, Distribution Check and Market Share Readings, Consumer Tracking, Customer Satisfaction).
    • Coordinate with Marketing Research on research activities and-schedules to be conducted in the various sales areas/regions.
    • Secure from Marketing Research national level research results and the corresponding analysis thereof.
    • Ensure proper maintenance and easy access of national level research results provided by Marketing Research.
  3. Sales Operational EfficiencyMonitoring and Analys is.
    • Consolidate and summarize sales area inputs to be considered in the setting of standards for, sales operational efficiency monitoring and analysis process.
    • Document standards for sales operational efficiency monitoring and analysis for implementation of the sales areas and regions.
    • Consolidate and summarize area level reports on actual performance versus plans/targets and provide inputs on specific areas for improvement.
    • Ensure proper maintenance and easy access of consolidated national sales operational efficiency monitoring and analysis reports/records.
  4. Competitive Intelligence
    • Consolidate and summarize sales area inputs to be considered in establishing a standard and systematic approach in gathering, analyzing and interpreting competitive activities, focusing on trade-related information.
    • Document standard approach in gathering, analyzing and interpreting comp etitive activities for implementation by the sales areas and regions.
    • Consolidate and summarize competitive reports tom the sales areas as well as other competitive i4ormation and analysis thereof from other sources (i.e. Marketing Services; Business Planning, Logistics; Finance).
    • Regularly update National Beer Sales Competitive Intelligence Hub.
  1. Sales Performance Monitoring & Reporting
    • Consolidated and summarize sales, area inputs to be considered in establishing standards and policies in monitoring and reporting sales performance for the Beer Sales Function.
    • Document standards and policies in monitoring and reporting sales performance for implementation by the sales areas and regions.
    • Consolidate national daily; weekly and monthly comparative sales report with corresponding analysis of the factors (internal & external) resulting to such.
    • Ensure proper m aintenance and easy access of consolidated national sales performance and analysisreports/records.
  2. Updating and Analysis of OutletUniverse
    • Consolidated and summarize sales area inputs to be considered in establishing standards and policies for the regular updating of outlet census.
    • Document standards and policies for the regular updating of outlet census.
    • Undertake analysis of emerging developments and trends on universe of outlets at national level.
    • Serve as custodian of outlet census database at national level.
  3. Sales Trending
    • To consolidate results of sales area trending, to serve as input to SMT's sales planning activities.
  4. Annual Sales Business Planning.
    • To document work plan schedule of planning activities within the Beer Sales Function.
    • To coordinate with Marketing Services on its cascade to SMT of relevant information and analysis of its long-term outlook (market, consumer, economic, political) in support of the Sales Function's planning process.
    • To provide staff support in the cascade to the Sales AMT of the overall management business direction as well as tile inputs fromMarketing Services on relevant area-specific information and analysis of its long term outlook (market, consumer, economic, political) in support of the sales area planning process.
    • To consolidate national business plans and sales volume budget estimates.
  5. Long-range Planning Process
    • To document work plan schedule of LRP activities within the Beer Sales function.
    • Consolidate sales informationrequirements necessary for the review/update of Sales & Distribution strategy by the SMT.
  6. Special Trade research and Ad Hoc Studies
    • Coordinate with Marketin g Research regarding the details (specific activities and schedules) of special/ad hoc trade research requirements of beer sales function
    • Secure from Marketing Research national level research results and the corresponding analysis thereof.
    • Ensure proper maintenance and easy access of national level research results provided by Marketing Research.
  1. Information Technology Enhancements and Innovations
    • Provide staff support in establishing and maintaining cross-functional linkage between Beer Sales and information Technology Group in serving the information systems and technology requirements of the beer sales function.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science/Information Tec hnology, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Staff (non-management & non-supervisor)s specializing in Sales - Corporate or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of marketing research concepts and methodologies.
  • Thorough knowledge of various computer applications.
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written
