International Power Mitsui Operations & Maintenance Indonesia (IPMOMI) , a subsidiary of GDF Suez , a world leader in the development of co-generation and independent power plants, is assigned to manage, operate and maintain coal fired power plant located in Paiton, Probolinggo East Java, owned by PAITON ENERGY.
We are seeking a qualified Indonesian professional to fill the post of :

Finance & Corporate Service Manager
Jawa Timur

Responsibilities:

The position is responsible for organizing, directing controlling administration, accounting, warehouse functions and other functions associates with company operations.
  • Objective and business plan.De velopment and implementation of goal, objective, police, and priorities for the company activities and business plan and submit to Plant Manager to approval. Identify resource need, recommend and implement policies and procedures.
  • Agreements.Administer the partnership Agreement, Operations and Maintenance Agreements, Power Purchase Agreement, Miscellaneous Service Agreement and other Agreement that may be entered into for the provisions of acceptable accounting data various parties of these agreements.
  • Accounting process.Supervises the operations and activities of the accounting functions including payroll, account payable, account receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, cashiering, petty cash, purchase orders, financial audi ting/internal control activities and others. To oversee that the accounting processes are in line with the applicable standard ( IFRS/GAAP/PAI ), etc. Verify and approve all journal entries before inputting to the accounting system.
  • Reporting.Prepare Monthly Financial Management reporting to cover Financial matter of P1, P3 & IPMOMI; ONM Capital Expenditure consolidation of P1 & P3; Frango advisor P1, P3 & IPMOMI. Prepare statutory reporting that connected with Indonesia Statutory reporting, Indonesia Tax compliance and SRP reporting to IPR.
  • Invoice Payment & Tax. Manage invoices, Tax on VAT, receipt of deposits and procedures of recording funds; all financial reports from the general and subsidiary ledgers; reconciliation and summary data reports
  • Warehousing. Manage warehousing functions which include spare parts and stock level maintenance, Material Receiving, Materials Handling and Storage, Materials Delivery, Quality Control
  • External Audit. Handle all external audit queries, findings and ensure that the financial report is fairly presented. Assist PE in handling auditors queries, finding to ensure that the reports are fairly presented.
  • Budgeting. Support FCS Manager in managing budgeting activities associated with operations, Maintenance, income, expeditor, and capital requirement. Prepare Companys budget each year based o n the ONM budged especially the reimbursable expense such as payroll and benefit costs, training, travelling, insurance and other reimbursable cost and present the IPMOMI budget for approval. Assist the CEO to arrange the budges kick off meeting, develop and maintain the scope sheet for each accounts, and consolidate all departmental budgets to corporate level. Assist the CEO in the discussion with the Department Managers from rough-cut to final reports. And in the presentation to the stakeholders, PE, IPR and others.
  • Billing Process. Verify that the billing data are in line with PPA guidelines before submission to PLN via PE. The data should include the dispatch, DCH, PPA Heat rate supplementary payment etc. Cross check to ensure that the calculation of Pm is accurate. Develop template to accommodate the formula as agreed by the coal supplier and PL N. Based on the PLN approved billing data, prepare billing invoice with additional data such as Exchange Rate (RDm) and average Coal price (Pm). All these should be accomplished within the same date of the data availability.
  • Corporate Matters. Liaise with Government authorities / agencies such as BKPM and other local authorities for any permit and legal matters. Prepare the shareholders resolutions in lieu of annual shareholders meeting each year. Prepares the resolutions if they are changes in the board of directors or commissioners, Act as Corporate Secretary of IPMOMI

Requirements:

  • Chartered accountant and graduate from University majoring in Ac counting or Finance. Master degree would be an advantage
  • Prior power generation industry experience of managing the function across several projects would therefore be desirable and a distinct advantage
  • Strong planning, organizing, control and monitoring to meeting stringent deadlines
  • Understanding of business processes and have strong analytical and research capabilities
  • Affable personality with excellent communication and report writing skill to prepare periodic financial reports and interact with senior management
  • Power negotiator with tact with diplomacy to liaise with external parties such as tax, banks, vendors, auditors, consultants etc

General Requirements :

  • All candidates should have at least 5 years relevant experiences and should have a relevant accredited degree with adequate training supported by power plant experience at a similar level in power station operations or maintenance, or in a similar industrial environment.
  • Have good oral and written English communication skills.
